This afternoon, I paid a visit to my awesome stylist and had my hair colored.
Here are some photos to show you all how it turned out. I am very pleased with it! So blended and pretty, just how I like it!
David curled my entire head for me with a curling iron, kept them in pin-curls until they cooled, and let it all down at the end of styling. These curls are definitely made to last (lots of hairspray was involved too!)
I hope you all like it as much as I do! More to come tomorrow…I’m seeing New Moon! Can’t wait!
xoxo,
Veronika.

I love it! I wanted to ask.. where did you get your velcro rollers? Also, How do I master a good blowout?? And do you use any dry shampoo? If so, what kind? I just bought Blow dry shampoo.

Super Hot Girl!!!! Question though – you mentioned lots of hairspray was involved to make it curly, but I've been finding the more spray I put in, the heavier my hair gets and the faster it gets straight 🙁 So how much hairspray is "a lot of hairspray" and when does he usually put it in? Before curling or after? Also does he brush your hair gently after to make them blend? Can you tell how much I LOVE your hair? lol

anon- my velcro rollers are from Target and Sally Beauty Supply.
I use baby powder as my dry shampoo. It works for me 🙂
For me, a good blowout means using the right products (mousse on the roots and a smoothing serum at the ends) and then blowdrying upside down for volume. I use a round brush and focus on lifting at the roots to get volume. Then, I set it up in velcro rollers (just the front and crown) and let it dry while I do my makeup. I flat-iron the underneath part that is NOT in the rollers.

maja- I almost NEVER use hairspray in my day to day life. My stylist used it before he curled it and then after as well. I don't really like hairspray, but I slept on them, and my curls are still intact!

How is your hair cut? Do you have just a few face frame layers?
MsHark says
it looks beautiful!
I saw New Moon…. not really.. so good. but not awful. Although my hubby and his friend said it was the worst movie they ever saw. I said, not worse than the first one and they said "Having seen the first one actually made this one worse because we knew what we were in for." LOL!

Housewife- I have layers, and then really long face framing layers at the front. He just cuts long layers throughout.
New Moon was good. My DH didn't like it either. He said the vampires aren't "bad ass" enough.
Iiris- I actually have a lot of damage, trust me, it is just the way it is styled! I try to snip my split ends off every few weeks or so (myself). When I notice one, I just snip it off.

aww thank you emily 🙂 I am actually still growing it! I must have a complex because I don't think it is that long at all!

What color is your hair considered? It looks really nice and not at all brassy!

Your hair is SO pretty! Can you tell me what size barrel your stylist used for the curls? I love that look but can never seem to achieve it myself. Thanks a bunch!

anon- I would say my hair is light brown with soft darker blonde highlights. I can ask my stylist exactly which colors he uses if you like 🙂
Gretchen- I think he used a 1 1/2 inch, but I'm not positive.
