Recent ASOS Purchases & Try-Ons

Though I do 90 percent of my shopping online these days— that always comes with the risk of an item not fitting or not appearing as I had imagined it. Still, the convenience can’t be beat and with two kids and working full-time, online shopping is my jam.

I love sharing these try-on reviews so y’all can know more about the quality and fit of an item before making a purchase.

This peplum shirt is even cuter in person than it looked online. The fabric is slinky/stretchy and heavier than I imagined it (not a thin cotton like many shirts this style are). Mine is a size 6 and it fits great! I think this would look great on a casual weekend with jeans and boots or converse and for work paired with skinny dress pants, a low heel and a blazer. It would also look great dressed up with a statement necklace.

This stripe detail shirt is super long which is what I always look for in a dress shirt since I tend to wear them untucked most of the time unless tucked into a skirt. This is a medium and sizing wise I think I could have gone for a small, but I like that it’s a little more relaxed and not too fitted. The fun part of this shirt is of course the bottom half’s baby blue stripes paired with the solid white top. I wear a lot of dress shirts for work and other than J.Crew’s endless shirt which doesn’t appear to be in production anymore, these longer styles are a little harder to come by.

I’ll also mention these shirts are very pregnancy-friendly. I wore my long dress shirts well towards the end of my second trimester.IMG_1497 IMG_1498asos1Lastly, I ordered this top months ago and have been wearing it a ton during my maternity leave. It has large slits that almost go to your ribs. I wear it with leggings a lot and I’ll also layer a tank underneath it if I’m leaving the house. It’s so long and comfy and has a nice ribbed texture. Plus, it’s a steal at under $30. Mine is a size 6.
IMG_9263I hope you liked the pieces in this post! I’ll share more outfits with them soon. You can find nearly identical leopard calfhair heels here and my leggings are Lululemon wunder unders.

Happy Monday and have a great week!

Great tops! I love asos. I’ve shopped there a couple times and have had great luck! I like that they have different sizing. Happy 2016 Veronika! I haven’t commented in awhile but I am trying to get back to that this year in blogging and get back to my roots lol.
