I am SO excited to share with you that we finally purchased our dining room chairs today! I am still contemplating doing different head-of-table chairs (either ones with side arms or maybe even doing something totally different like wicker for a mix of textures) but I’m absolutely thrilled with these tufted chairs I found at a local store called Home Source in the Galleria area. They have so many gorgeous, unique and affordable pieces.
I’ll show more photos when it’s all set up, but here’s a little preview:
I am going to stain the legs myself (I don’t mind the light color but would prefer the legs be super dark, like the floors) so that will be a fun little project. They were such an incredible price that the DIY legs are worth it.
We still have to have our Restoration Hardware curtains installed and I’m also going to get another chandelier (probably the same as the one we have over the kitchen island) to go over the dining table. Sigh. It’s gonna be pretty.

Love those chairs!! But please reconsider staining the legs a color that is close to the floor color. It usually won't look as nice as how you picture it in your head. I've done it before and the piece just seems to blend in with the floor. 🙁 Some contrast is good!
If you are gong-ho about doing it, I'd suggest first staining some scrap wood and place it in front of an existing leg to cover it. Live with it for a day and see if it's still what you want.
@Megs- I am not dead set on it and in absolutely no rush to do it 🙂 I am okay with the leg color for now, I think it matches the actual table. Thanks for your opinion. The more I look at them the more I love them just the way they are…but maybe one day i'll stain them…but I have a ton of other projects on my list before I get to that 🙂
the chairs are the perfect pick! love the whole look. i kind of like the light legs, but i think dark would look fabulous too
