Since I’ve had Invisalign, I’ve had to care for my oral health more stringently than ever. After every meal, I use a water flosser, floss with a floss pick and then brush with my Sonicare toothbrush. Most floss picks break (and I’ve tried ever brand), but the one brand that has not let me down are these one by Plackers. They have a double floss string and have not once broken while I floss.

You know those purchases that you put on and immediately want to text five of your friends about? Well, this bra is one of them. I LOVE this brand – the bra is made from the material you most commonly see in the “seamless” underwear (which is pretty much all I wear). You know what? Feet are sweaty/smelly. Well, mine are, and I know from talking with my friends and co-workers that we’re all on the struggle bus with this. Switching to wearing Rothy’s flats was a game-changer since they’re made of recycled plastic and can be washed and come out looking and smelling like new (yes, really!) but they still got gross/smelly and I felt I was having to wash them really frequently. So I ordered “truly no show” socks and they make a big difference! I’m able to extend the time I go between washes and sometimes only have to wash the insole of my Rothy’s. I wear these shoe/sock liners everyday now! They don’t prevent your feet from sweating, but it’s an added layer of protection between your skin and the shoe.

My friend Lynzy shared this pillow on her IG stories a few months ago and it was an #addtocart moment for me. The inside stuffing of the pillow is adjustable – it comes with extra stuffing to make it more firm. In my case, I found it most comfortable to remove some of the stuffing since I’m a stomach sleeper. I don’t think I’ve ever liked a pillow more. It’s a little bit of a steeper price point than something you’d get at Target, but since you spend about 8 hours in bed every single night, I’d say a good night’s sleep is well worth it.

I recently got a new MacBook Air after having my previous one for six years (it still works and I’m using it as a backup and for travel).

My keyboard on it looks like new, even after six years, and it’s because I have used a keyboard skin from day one. It felt a little weird to type with it on at first, but now I can’t imagine my laptop without it. As soon as I got my new MacBook, I ordered another keyboard skin – it’s made from silicone, super thin and washable. It keeps your keyboard in pristine condition because dirt, dust and crumbs can’t get into your keyboard when you have this on.

I recently shared my eye makeup tutorial on instagram stories (it’s saved to my “beauty” highlights if you’d like to go back and watch). I got a ton of DMs asking about the color of my MAC eyeshadow that I use to “tightline” my upper lash line/upper lid. The color is called “brun” and I’ve been using it for years. It’s a deep rich dark brown and applying it super close to the lash line really defines the eyes, but in a more subtle way than liner (pencil or liquid). I love diffusing essential oils year-round, but especially around the holidays (Young Living’s “Christmas Spirit” is a favorite). My glasses get so dirty (both my computer glasses and sunglasses) and in order to protect the integrity of the various coatings on the lenses, I avoid using any products that aren’t created specifically for lenses. Every time I find a good light pink polish, I want to shout it from the rooftops. I discovered this OPI formula when the woman next to me at the nail salon was having her nails painted with it. I was only getting my toes painted, so of course I immediately added it to my cart from my phone and checked out on amazon, 10 seconds after she raved that it has been a longtime favorite shade of hers. I cleaned up my diet big time this year, but I don’t believe in deprivation. Staying on track, for me, involves the ability to have a sweet treat daily. I’ve tried so many topcoats in the last decade and the one I keep coming back to is Essie’s Gel Couture Topcoat. It comes in a simple white bottle and I love its consistency, the brush size, everything. It’s not advertised as a “quick dry” formula like some others, but I paint my nails in bed and by the time I fall asleep, they’re dry, so this isn’t a deterrent for me. The best part? As a woman who wears heels most days to work, I have a zero tolerance policy for ones that aren’t comfortable. I’ve actually found that many pairs of heels are more comfortable than flats, if you buy the right ones. These bow heels are incredibly comfortable and the bow isn’t too sweet or girly – it’s just the right balance. I have the navy, but am also considering the black since when I find a good heel, I usually buy multiple colors. Recently I had a major rash develop under my arms (and it included ingrown hairs – ouch!) Somehow my skin had reacted to my natural deodorant after more than six months of use, so I switched to the sensitive version. In the meantime though, my underarms were red, irritated, itchy and angry. I decided to try the unicorn of healing potions – coconut oil. I used Kopari’s coconut melt and my underarms were healed in just a few short days (the jar is huge and will last you awhile). The redness went away, the ingrown hairs were gone and they looked and felt better than ever. Crazy Rich Asians is a box office hit but the book is even better! I listened on audible and highly recommend this one. There are so many different characters and intertwining stories – I loved it so much I’m currently listening to part II of the trilogy (China Rich Girlfriend). If you’ve been following our dining room light fixture saga, you may know that after ordering our fourth fixture, we finally found The One. Ultimately, the gold fixture was a more cohesive look for the space when you took into account our kitchen pendants and the gold/brass accents we have throughout the space.
