Today I got an email from GAP with a promo code to get 40% off of my order. I had been wanting to pick up a few things but was, as always, waiting for a sale of 35% off or above (it’s always worth the wait for how much you save). You can use the code DEALFORU for a percentage off of your order (I think it’s between 35-40%).
Here is what I ordered for Harper (and one gray dress for myself that I saw in-store recently and thought was cute):
…and then Harper had fun with her new Mamas + Papas dolly. We are naming her Molly or Penelope. Yep, we name dolls. I make up songs about them, so they need to have a name, right? Her other doll is named Ruby. Ha. Ruby is a ballerina and I have a song that I made up about her dancing. Yep, I’m weird.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

We have the Boon Flair and love it. I'm so happy we chose it. Extremely easy to clean (I spray it down with baby-safe all-purpose cleaner and wipe it off. If it's really bad, I take the pad off and just give it a quick wash in the sink with soap and water while doing the dishes), the height is adjustable, and it is on wheels. The last thing seems like a small detail but I use the wheels all the time. I like to roll her into the kitchen while she eats her snack so she can keep my company while I do dishes or prep ingredients for dinner. It's also nice that I can bring her closer to me while she's eating if she needs help. I bought a white replacement seat pad on Amazon so our whole chair is white with the silver base. It blends in so well with our house this way.

i totally agree with you about the 'they will live in onesies' thing! not necessarily true! believe it or not i love the IKEA high chair. i think it's ANTLER? it fits well into our transitional style š

I totally took advantage of this – I love their sales!!

I own and operate a baby (and maternity) store and there's a Dutch company that's recently come over to the US called Nuna. They make a highchair that grows with the child very similarly to the OXO tot Sprout BUT it has an adjustable height. Check it out. They aren't at babies r us but more like specialty baby stores. Hopefully you can find one near you. The price-point is similar to the Sprout chair too!

Thank you! I looked into it and watched a video review but the guy said it's not tall enough to be the same height as a kitchen island or bar š it's cool looking though!

Yes! Finally someone who agrees with me about onsies…. I barely used them, even when my daughter was a newborn. It's just so much easier to change a diaper when she is wearing shirt + leggings instead of a onsie. Plus, I'm not a fan of the tucked-in-shirt look that a onsie/pants combo creates.

Wow, same exact thoughts about the tucked-in-shirt, hah! This morning I was having the toughest time finding an outfit that matched and felt bad for not buying some new clothes for my angel š

I love that Gap dress you bought for yourself! I'm curious to see how you style it!

We love love our boon flair! I struggled with the price not knowing how much we would actually use it but we wheel her everywhere to eat while I fold laundry.. Cook etc. I found ours on eBay for $50 less than Buy Buy Baby. Thank you for all your blogging! Love reading s your posts

thank you so much for this feedback! it seems like a lot of people really love it. Does it get high enough to be as high as your kitchen island or countertops?

Your thoughts about outfits and onesies were the exact ones I had this whole week! I've been meaning to buy her more clothes she can wear and pair up easily, and realized that onesies are only good for when she's sleeping (in my opinion and for my style). Good to know that we think alike, teeehee! And I just love everyyyyything you bought–especially that furry vest. Harper is so fun to watch, everything she does is funny and cute! š

I'm in the market for a high chair too – and like you – I loved the Boon Flair and the OXO Sprout. HOWEVER – we went to Buy Buy Baby over the weekend to see them in person and my husband hated the Boon Flair. He thought it looked like a rocket ship and said the tray was too small. (Which is actually one of the things I liked about it!) The OXO Sprout was the one he prefered, but you can't change the height, and it's really short. We're not giants, I'm about 5'6 and my husband is 5'10, but if we wanted to have the baby sitting in it while we worked in the kitchen, we'd have to bend down to it. It's great for if you're sitting at a table, but not so great for if you're standing or at a counter or higher table. And it's very very very sold – which is good, but hard to move around. After all of that, we ended up between the Graco Blossom and the Fisher Price EZ Clean – which is probably the one we'll end up getting – it looked much more comfortable for our baby (who looked kinda awkward in the OXO Sprout), the liner is machine washable and the seat reclines and the height adjusts. Personally, not my style, but it is what it is. Plus, it's like $80. My top choice is still the Boon Flair though – I just think it looks so sleak, but hubs really hated it. I figure it will be covered in baby food and spit up anyway, so better to just choose one than beat my head against the wall over it any longer. (Friends of ours use the EZ Clean and love it, so we shall see!)

thank you so much for taking the time to leave this feedback! I agree that a taller chair is more versatile—like you mentioned, being in the kitchen, etc.
I'd still like to see the boon in person—we have a few weeks to order it so I will try to find somewhere that sells it. Thanks so much for your feedback- sorry your H hates the boon! I agree it's a little modern but I like that.

I really still love the Boon! I think it's a great size and love that the tray is small enough to fit into the dish washer! And I love that the seat has no fabric or grooves for food to get stuck. It's still my favorite one! Buy Buy Baby should have one on display if there is a store near you – that's where we went to check them out. And yes, I put my baby in all of them until he gave me THE LOOK.

We have the Stokke Tripp Trapp and we love it!!! My 3yo doesn't eat in it anymore but she still like to sit in it and color. Not too many high chairs that can accommodate both a baby and a big kid! š

We got the Mamas and Papas Juice high chair for Eli and really liked it. It converts to a junior chair when your little one gets bigger, so you can use it with a "kids' table" down the road. I liked the design too.

I would love to know where you got the knit chevron blanket for H? Is this homemade? Or did you buy it on etsy?! Thanks!!!
