I hope everyone had a great Saturday! We started our morning with Starbucks lattes and breakfast (yum!) and then I headed to swim class with Harper. She did awesome today and didn’t cry once (she is having some stranger danger issues and cried a few times during her last two lessons). Harper always takes an amazing nap right after class so I took that time to relax a bit before we set off to return some Christmas gifts that didn’t fit (we were a little, uh, late on that, ha) and check out some convertible car seats (because we will eventually switch out the infant seat in my car).
I got an email reminder that I had GAP Cash to use (it’s a promo where when you shopped about a month ago you got $25 back for every $50 you spent to use towards a future purchase). Wanting to take advantage of getting clothes for 50% off, I picked up a few items for Harper and for me. I’m buying all 12-18 month clothing now. The tank top is actually a size 3T because the 12-18 one was teeny tiny. It looked like a 0-3 month size.
I am a big Athleta fan, and I just bought a couple of pairs of Chaturanga tights and really like them. I also find that they have some great "to and from" pieces for yoga, and some of my favorite cardigans are from there. The day we got an Athleta store in our area was an exciting day for me!

We did buy a couple extensions for it though. It just seemed to small on its own.
I have that blue top for Ashlynn, can't wait for spring/summer it's so cute! We also have name puzzles but they are little stepstools. One of my SMIL friends gave them to use as new baby gifts, I can't wait to see the girl standing on them side by side brushing their teeth. Great way to learn to spell their name too!
I just washed mine and it's a 12-18 and it shrinks a lot just FYI! I hate that!

I love the bottom of the stairs one because it's almost unnoticeable when not in use. The top of the stairs one isn't that glamorous but I was all about safety with that one. Good luck!

I just tried those green crops on today! So cute!!! They actually have a version of the chat tight called the drifter tight, which has zipper detailing…they are so adorable!!! I ended up getting those instead of the green crops 😉
The striped leggings and the polka dot leggings are so adorable! I have the big white gate type of play pen from toys r us. I'll be honest I am not fond of the the way it looks, so I don't keep it out much.. My floor plan is not as open as yours though. I prefer to just use a gate at the bottom of the stairs and one at the top. I have a feeling Miss Emily will figure out how to crawl out of the crib soon.(Her nursery is upstairs) Stacy
Harper is one lucky little lady! Look at all the pretty clothes and fun toy! That eyelet flutter sleeve top is to die for. She will look adorable! After reading your blog, it has opened my eyes to the most gorgeous baby clothes I have ever seen. I used to think babies r us or carters was the place to buy everything but I have a new found love for baby GAP!

That little eyelet top is SO cute! I have to go to Baby Gap tomorrow to use our GapCash! I've seen those name puzzles before and totally forgot about them! That should be fun for K's first birthday. 🙂

We have the Simmer Infant play yard. It works really well, but DD hates it. She's about a month older than H. I use it to keep her safe, and she will play a very short time in it, but then just screams. Before spending the money, you could try the pack n play, if you have one.
we do have a PNP but we keep that in our master bedroom. We never keep her in the playard a long time—only when we have to step away to the kitchen for a few mins or I'm picking up the house for 10 mins. I hate to leave her in it (but for now she does enjoy it because she likes to pull up in it). Like you, we just use it in short spurts for safety 🙂
