The Shoe for All You Do – Reebok Skyscape

A few weeks ago while perusing Instagram, I saw a picture of model Miranda Kerr wearing some pretty cool looking shoes. Little did I know that just a week later I’d get to try out a pair for myself!



They’re the new Reebok Skyscapes and they’re amazing. Yes, just one simple word can describe them, but I’ll go into more detail so you can really see what’s made me so smitten (aside from the fact that Miranda Kerr can make pretty much anything look amazing, even those darn bedsheets).

First of all, they are machine washable. Yes, you read that correctly. With our hot summers, I won’t lie, I could use a shoe that can be machine-washed. All you have to do is pop out the insole and hang to dry when they’re all clean. 
They’re made of this unique molded material that’s super lightweight, thin and flexible. I learned that Reebok actually borrowed the materials and soft molding process used to create lingerie to craft this shoe. Maybe Miranda gave them the idea from her experience with Victoria’s Secret? Ha.

They also only weigh 5 ounces, which obviously makes them feel incredibly comfortable on your feet, no matter where you’re headed. I got to test out the black and hot pink combo and there are several other pretty color combos here.  Best of all, they are priced at right under $70.

 These are the perfect shoes for going almost anywhere. So far I’ve worn mine to the park, running errands all weekend, grocery shopping, stroller walks with Harper and more. They’re so easy to slip on and off and you don’t have to wear socks with them which is a huge bonus for this sock-hater (they feature a seamless construction for minimized rub and irritation).
Weekends are my downtime and I love slipping into my wunder unders, a tank and zip-up for running around doing errands, playing with Harper and being outside. These shoes work perfectly with my casual weekend wear but the slim profile would make them look great with boyfriend or skinny jeans and shorts too.  I also imagine these shoes would be great for anyone traveling— they’re comfortable on feet for an entire day of excursions, sightseeing and shopping. Plus, they’d pack incredibly well too. You can purchase a pair here if you’re interested, or in-store!

    Those look awesome and so comfy! I've been on the hunt for comfy shoes to take my toddler on walks and to the park that don't look like comfy shoes and these might be it. Will have to check them out next time I'm at the mall.

    I would definitely wear mine at the hospital, as I am a nurse who works 13 hour night shifts. My feet could definitely use some TLC and the fact that the shoes are lightweight sound ideal for my line of work.

    Omg they look super comfy! I'd wear them pretty much everywhere. I work in a very small office that is totally okay with jeans & flip flops or anything that you're comfortable in. These shoes sound like they fit exactly 🙂

    oh mygosh , i would love to wear these to work on my commute (I slip onto heels at work). I've developed severe corns from wearing uncomfortable shoes , I bet this would do wonders for my feet.

    I would wear them around while running errands or going on walks during the summer time, I had a pair of reeboks and wore them all the time until I needed new shoes, but by far the most comfortable shoes I've worn at work being on my feet all day.

    I went to the zoo this past Sunday where I walked and stood for almost 6 hours. By the end, I could barely stand let alone walk around the rest of the day! My boyfriend was really concerned because we are planning what I believe will be a life changing 3 month trip to Europe and Asia next year and I will be walking a lot more than that every day!     everywhere, everywhere, everywhereee!! I am always on the run, literally. I am a sneakers girl. You will never find me in anything other than sneakers. I have been searching for a really good comfy, stylish pair of sneaks forever. I would literally wear these EVERYWHERE and as a university student running from class to class these would be EPIC-LY(i know its not a word lol) appreciated. I would be known as the Skyscape girl
