I’m sorry I’ve been a little MIA from the blog this week. This past work week was so busy and next week is gearing up to be the same, so I took a little break.
I ended up going to Target tonight to buy a gift for a birthday party we’re attending tomorrow and I thought I’d share some of my purchases. I love seeing what other people buy when they shop, so I hope you enjoy a peek into my cart!
You’ve probably seen these pants everywhere. Megan got them several weeks ago and I went to my Target and all they had left was an XS and XL. They must have re-stocked them because I was able to buy the medium today. I love these- soft and comfy! I always change into sweatpants after work and these will be perfect for that. I like that the top band folds down because it makes them fit nicer on me.
This dress was one of the items I threw into my cart thinking “what the heck, why not?!” knowing I probably wouldn’t end up buying it…but it looked so cute when I put it on that I couldn’t pass it up.
I didn’t end up buying these adorable leopard print pants because do I really need another pair of lounge pants (brain says no, heart says yes) but they were too cute not to share. #regrets
I purchased a few books for Harper’s friend’s birthday party and I couldn’t resist getting these two for Harper. They’re written by the same author as my beloved “It’s time to sleep, my love” book so I knew I would love them…pretty sure Harper will too!
WARNING!!! Addicting product above! A co-worker turned me onto these and it’s been love ever since. I often have a few (okay, a small handful) of these after dinner and it’s the perfect thing to satisfy my sweet tooth without eating half a bag of miniature oreos.
I’ve been using Secret clinical strength for years, as well as Up&Up non-acetone nail polish remover. And, here’s a confession: I pay $1 for the ELF lash curler so I can use the replacement inserts on my Shu Uemera lash curler. Cheap and effective.
Lastly, I picked up some Seventh Generation laundry detergent. I use tons of SG cleaning products in our home and absolutely love the brand. I usually use Tide free + clear for our entire family’s laundry, but this was on sale and since I love the brand, I wanted to give it a try.
I hope you all have a great long weekend!

We adore the Nancy Tillman books here. I've been reading On the Night You Were Born to E since he was born and he now refers to it as his 'special book.' The Crown on Your Head is another gorgeous title and these are always my go to baby shower gifts.

thank you! I haven't heard of the crown on your head—adding it to my list 🙂

I love that tunic dress! Just looked at it online and might pull the trigger. But what kind of shoes would you wear with it? Heels? Boots?

I think either could work—it would look awesome with boots and tights too! I even think a black heeled sandal would be great 🙂

Veronika I love love those sweat pants! Please tell me they're from the Target in the heights, if so I'm running over there immediately! They look so comfortable for evenings and weekends. 🙂
Thanks for sharing your finds with us!

I love 7th Gen too, use a lot of their products. I was using clinical strength deodorant until recently when a friend of mine told me she started using coconut oil. Yes, as deodorant!! And it works!!! A pea size amount rubbed into underarm in the morning and I smell like fresh soap all day long!! Couldn't believe it until I tried it, even though I'm already a dedicated coconut oil user for face lotion, cooking and more. 🙂 Think I may have to go buy some of those lounge pants, you're the third person to mention them lately!

Hey,
Does the nail polish work really good? I've been looking for one without acetone for a while now!
Hope you have a wonderful day 🙂

Ahh I am so happy that someone else has found the awesomeness of the $1 ELF eyelash curler!! I bought this randomly on vacation when I left my Shu E at home, and now I use the inserts for my beloved Shu E! Such a fun random thing! Who would have thought $1 could get you that!?!?

I'll have to look in to Nancy Tillman, those books look lovely – I'm sure they'd go down a treat with my little one. Thanks for sharing your purchases, who doesn't love a good nosey?
