Happy Sunday! We had another blazing hot weekend here (serenity now!) but we found ways to enjoy the outdoors even though there was a ton of sweating involved.
I forgot to mention this a couple of weeks ago, but I saw my hairdresser recently and got some highlights. My hair has been weird since I got pregnant— it seems lighter in color at the roots and some areas of my crown have hairs with a strange, rough texture (plus baby hairs from postpartum hair loss womp, womp). I wanted to get my color looking a little more blended since I’m used to having my roots a tad darker and so my colorist added really subtle highlights on my top layer and added some low lights to the underneath where I had too much blonde. I’m really happy with it and this should hold me over until baby boy is born. Speaking of hair—I have a post coming up next week that’s all about hair products I’m currently loving, so watch out for that!
I realized after bedtime that we were out of sunscreen so I decided to make a quick run to Target to pick up some essentials…but not before first stopping at Marble Slab to get some birthday cake ice cream with double cookie dough, because, #pregnancy. Just kidding, I eat it whether I’m growing another human or not.
Saturday night there was a ton of rain, thunder and lightening and we thought for sure our planned pool day would be cancelled. We got lucky though and today was beautiful and sunny so to the pool we headed!
My in-laws surprised Harper with some new buckets and shovels and she was smitten and carried them around the entire time.
Where is that cute pom pom on your purse from?
Fiji is such a classic shade! I love it too. And I love your Olaf. You got skills, girl!
Kennedy has those same sandals! We call them her sparkle sandals. Haha

i know you have done a nail polish video before but would love if you did an updated one with maybe your top 15 🙂 or a blog post 🙂
I've been planning to do this 🙂 thanks for the extra push!
Ashlynn calls thunder "fire trucks", she once heard fireworks going off and I explained what they were, then whenever she hears a loud noise at bed its the "fire trucks". And she always requests her sunglasses too when we go outside, but she also calls all glasses "sunglasses".
haha that is so cute!!! harper alternates between "glasses" and "sunnies" 🙂
