Happy Sunday! I’m blogging from my favorite room ever right now— our playroom. It’s also the only room that has a TV right now, so…
These next few weekends are kind of nerve-wracking for me. I feel a sense of “this baby could come at any time” which I did not feel at all with Harper. I still have my external version scheduled for tomorrow and I’m praying that it’s successful and without complications.
I shared a photo of Harper’s new dresser on IG and a lot of you asked about the bow knobs— they’re from The Land of Nod and they’re sweet as can be. Because they’re a little on the pricier side, I went with inexpensive polished brass knobs for the rest of the dresser. They’re not an exact match tone-wise, but they work!
While attempting (and failing) to find a mirror for the kid’s bathroom at Target this weekend, I did pick-up these awesome shirts for Harper. I love the neon lilac color of the “ooh la la” sweatshirt and the festive Halloween sparkle on the BOO! shirt. They didn’t have this sweatshirt or this shirt in my Target store, but I may need to order them online because they’re adorable. ooh la la | BOO!
The good news is I’ve found some good contenders for wall mirrors on One Kings Lane, but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I was the same way with the Pottery Barn master bathroom mirrors. It took me forever to finally make a desicion and go ahead and purchase them.
Speaking of the house, things are coming along. It’s pretty “together” for only having lived here for a few weeks. As you can see, we still have some blue tape on the walls for paint touch-ups and there are little things here and there that the builder has to touch-up, but overall we are fairly settled in. My hope is that by the time the baby comes, I won’t see even one brown box in this house (and there are only a handful as it is, so that goal is somewhat realistic). It was a weekend of girl time— Saturday afternoon my friend came over to see the house and we got pedicures during nap time (and I hadn’t had one in an embarrassingly long amount of time, so it was much-needed) and that evening I met Megan for a (decaf) latte and crepes. Because she’s the awesomest, she bought me this pumpkin + chocolate chip loaf she baked. She knows the way to this girl’s heart!Today we had a pretty laid-back day. Our friends came to visit for a play date this morning and we were all entertained by our girls interacting— it’s like every time they get together, they talk to each other more and it’s adorable. They even took turns singing the ABC’s and “twinkle twinkle” and clapping for one another when the song was done. They also both decided a princess dress was essential for a successful play date. I can’t say I disagree!
Did I mention the playroom is the best thing ever?

I hope your weekend was great!

Love those bow knobs! I just ordered them for my little babe’s room (same dresser but in gray). The knobs are now backordered until December. I wonder if you single-handedly created that demand. 🙂

Haha that is funny they are on backorder! They are very cute so I can understand why! I bet they will look great on a gray dresser 🙂 beautiful contrast!

I keep eyeing that ‘ooh la la’ sweatshirt at Target for my daughter every time I’m in there but now I think I really just need to pull the trigger 😉
