I love decorating our home for every season— especially the holidays! With Thanksgiving and cooler temperatures just around the corner, I’m craving cozy materials and warmth in our home.
One way I bring warmth into our home is with gold tones, so a lot of the items you see here are gold—it’s such a versatile accent metal and mixes well with other metals (for example, we have polished chrome hardware in our kitchen but tons of gold accents in the same area).
We have owned this moss knit blanket since last fall/winter and it’s my favorite, so I was so glad to see it brought back this season! It’s always on our couch because the knit is so beautiful and the tassels are so pretty (in fact, I’m using it right now!)
I hope you love these picks— best of all, they’re affordable! And not only that, but you can get 15% off of your order plus free shipping if you spend $60. Use the code 6681 through 10/30/16.
I hope your week is going great!
I’ve been super MIA this week because I had an incredible story I’ve been working on for months go national. Feel free to check it out here on the Washington Post, here on CNN and here on CBS. It’s truly a miracle and I’m so honored to work with these incredible families. If you want to read more about my job, check out my Q&A post, here.

Oh! I saw this story (all the way over here in Melbourne, Australia!) and when I heard where the hospital was I wondered if you’d worked on the story – how cool and what an amazing family.

Yes- the family is incredible! I have gotten calls from Brazil, Spain, Japan the U.K…it’a everywhere now! I’m glad I could help share the message that families have options with a diagnosis like this.
