Last week, I totally gutted my desk at work. I took everything down and started over— a total clean slate.

I had so many pictures up and a ton of clutter and it’s true what experts say- clutter in your workspace is distracting and clutters the mind.

I decided to decorate my cube at work like I would a home office and incorporate elements like framed art, this white tray to hold some essentials and even cute coasters for my coffee mug. I also added gold bamboo frames and love them since I have touches of faux-bamboo furniture in our home!

Now, I arrive at my desk every day now and love what I see. It’s a calming space with minimal clutter and the artwork really sets a great tone for the space. I even moved my phone to the other side of my desk because it looks better there and isn’t in my way anymore.
I was inspired by my mini desk makeover to share a gift guide for working moms— but truly, these would make wonderful gifts for many women in your life— a friend, co-worker or anyone who wants to make their work space prettier and cozier! I’m always cold at work, so a blanket is a great thing to keep at my desk and I love this pom pom throw and this monogram throw. I usually drape a throw blanket over my chair. It’s both functional and cute!

This wireless keyboard and these rose gold ear buds are the perfect desk accessories with style. I’m about to order the keyboard for myself— it’s such a great price!

I purchased this recipe box yesterday for our kitchen and think it would make for a wonderful holiday gift at a great price point.
