Happy Monday friends! Today I’m sharing my Trunk Club try-on session in case you missed it on my Instagram stories or just prefer to shop from the blog!
This month, I asked my stylist to send me dresses for the conference I’m heading to in Dallas this week. I wanted to try a variety of styles that worked for both day and evening events and Hannah really delivered on this trunk — I seriously loved almost every piece!

Trunk Club is a styling service where you work with a stylist that can help you figure out what’s missing from your closet, help find pieces for a special event or simply send you items that work with your lifestyle and budget. This includes clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories like jewelry and sunglasses. It’s ideal if you don’t like going to malls or don’t have the time (or desire) to shop.
Trunk Club is a Nordstrom company, so you’ll find that the brands of clothing, accessories and shoes available are similar to what you’d see at Nordstrom (one of my favorite places to shop). When you talk to your stylist, you can let her know how much you usually like to spend on tops, bottoms, handbags, shoes, etc. If you’re a Nordstrom card holder, there is no styling fee. If you aren’t, there’s a $25 styling fee per trunk but it goes towards any item you purchase.
You can keep your trunk for 5 days which I love because it allows you to take the time to try on things in the comfort of your own home and not feel rushed like you would in a dressing room and for me, that’s one of the largest benefits of this service. Plus, there’s less of a chance of impulse purchases when you really have the time to not only try the item on, but see how it works with the rest of your closet and be able to try it on again later. I have found myself on average keeping 1-4 items per trunk!

printed midi dress
This dress has the most stunning silhouette. I found it to be incredibly flattering, comfortable and it would be perfect for many spring/summer occasions. I didn’t end up keeping it because though I loved the style, I wasn’t totally head-over-heels in love with the print. It’s really so beautiful though — definitely recommend it.yellow maxi dress
What a beautiful color! I thought this dress was very flattering, a great price point and also versatile for summer. Mine is a medium, and I needed a small as it was a little roomier than I would have liked. However — this dress is so pretty and I recommend it in terms of style and quality.
floral wrap mini dress
This dress made me SO happy and so sad at the same time. It is literally perfection — but it’s way too short on me. Like if I bend even slightly, it’s not a good sight. If this was a romper, I 100% would have kept it because a romper this short is totally acceptable in my books. I can say with 100% certainty that had this dress been a few inches longer, it would forever reside in my closet, and I’m currently feeling pangs of jealousy over anyone who can pull off this length. Please buy this and send me pics so I can live vicariously through your joy of owning and wearing this dress.blue ruffle mini dress (also available here)
I had all the sads about the floral wrap dress, but then this dress came into my life and I felt warm fuzzies everywhere. This is a splurge…a big one. But wow. This dress is incredibly flattering and I literally felt like it was made for my body. It’s the perfect length, color, style, etc. I decided this dress needed to be in my life and plan to take it to Dallas. I just couldn’t let it go. Love you so much, little blue dress.ruffle and bow dress
I went back and forth on this dress A LOT. I LOVE it. But I sent it back and it’s because I felt it was a little too loose and had extra material. I may order it in an XS online (I’m wearing a small here). This beautiful dress comes in three prints — all of which are so cute. Size down on this one!colorful stripe swimsuit
It’s challenging to find one piece swimsuits that work for my body with my height — but this one is so flattering and fits perfectly (this is a medium – I usually go up a size in swim). This suit is a little spendy, and though I love the fit, the reason I didn’t keep it is because it also comes in a navy and white stripe version and I just know I’d wear that more. Plus I just got a ton of suits from the Shopbop sale, so I didn’t really need more. I highly recommend the quality and fit of this suit if you’re in the market for one.

These wedges (I kept them- they fit TTS and are under $100 and SO comfy!)
This dress — didn’t love how it looked on me but have seen it look amazing on others!
This dress — totally amazing — I kept it!
This jumpsuit — on my frame, I felt like I looked like a toddler — but cute if you’re a more petite type!
