Good morning (or middle of the night if you woke up early to shop the sale when it went live at 2 AM CST)! Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale is now open to the public (no card needed!) and I’m sharing some home décor favorites today since I’ve covered my other favorites from the sale already. I’m going to link those posts here in case you want to shop them:

I can never resist picking up some home décor items from the anniversary sale. They always have such a curated selection of home items and I appreciate that I don’t have to sift through hundreds of pages to find things I love. Nordstrom’s home section is almost an unknown to many people, but it’s a good one since they carry way less inventory than most retailers and most of it is either very classic or very on-trend.
If I had to recommend one home item in the entire sale, I’m always going to go back to the Barefoot dreams leopard blanket. Yes, it’s $119, but it’s worth every penny and I use it every.single.day. We keep it on our living room sofa and I cuddle up with it to watch TV and while I write every single blog post. I’m literally using it as I type this. Here are some other home items I love. Of these, so far I’ve purchased the marble marble kleenex box cover and the Donna Karen blush throw.
I also own the Recipe box andwood/marble cutting board.
Recipe box | coasters | wood/marble cutting board | pineapple coasters | blush throw blanket | fringe throw blanket | ruffle duvet cover and sham | leopard blanket | stripe Turkish towel | large striped Turkish towel | marble kleenex box cover | dotted tassel bath towel | crashing waves art | Donna Karen blush throw | ruffle linen duvet cover | Pompom curtains
Below I’m sharing some more in-depth reviews of items I’ve already worn and love from the sale. Obviously I don’t keep every item I try on or order online and I like to be transparent about which items I actually keep, wear and love.
I have a ton of items from last year that I still wear on a regular basis like my BLANK NYC moto jacket that’s always part of the sale (this year’s has no collar), my long and short sleeve striped tees, AG jeans, free people tops, my black boat neck ribbed sweater, etc.
I’m going to add my favorite clothing items into this post so that they’re all in one place if you don’t want to post-hop.
For sizing reference, I’m 5’10, wear a size 4/27 jean and usually get size small tops or medium if I need length or want a looser look. I wear a size 10 shoe.RUFFLE SLEEVE POPLIN BLEND TOP
This navy v-neck ruffle sleeve top is made from a woven cotton and thus, the ruffle sleeves retain their shape nicely, which makes the top look even cuter since the sleeves kind of “stand up.” The v-neck also has some subtle cutout detail that gives the shirt a little something extra. I wore this to work on Monday and highly recommend it. Mine is a size small and fits TTS.
GIBSON FLEECE TUNIC
This blush Gibson sweater is an item that waS gifted to me and I adore it. Gibson is known for their super soft (yet lightweight) sweaters and this one is no exception! I have purchased other Gibson tops in the past and they’re incredibly cozy. I like that this is a sweater I would wear to work with pants and heels.
SARAH SKINNY JEANS
These jeans are very flattering and the deep berry color is gorgeous. Fit is TTS and they have a raw hem – they’re also quite long so you can cut the hem if they’re too long on you since it’s already a raw cut hem.
COLE HAAN BOW FLATS
There are no words for these. They’re under $100 and so perfect for work. They look fantastic with jeans also. They’re comfortable, well made and are totally classic! You may want to size a half size down if you’re in between sizes.
CZ PAVE EARRINGS
My holy-grail best-ever CZ earrings are part of the sale – originally $98 and down to $64. If you purchase these, you will wear them 95% of the time, guaranteed. They’re absolutely stunning and the quality is incredible — I’ve had mine for years and they’re perfect. My Nadri edwardian ear crawlers are also on sale for an amazing price.J.CREW PAJAMA SET
I ended up keeping both colors because I love this set so much. Mine are a medium but I always size up in PJs to have a roomier fit, so order your true size. I love how vibrant these colors are and how classic they look. The tipped detailing adds such a beautiful finishing touch.GRAY SIDE SLIT TEE
This tee fits like a dream, is under $20 and has a great rounded hem. It sold out quicly but it looks like there are one or two colors still left. Fit TTS.
ADIDAS TANK
On sale for $21, this workout tank is slightly sheer and will keep you cool during intense workouts or hot summer days. I opted for the light gray since I didn’t have a workout top in this color. I’m wearing this zella relay sports bra underneath and I give it five stars!
NIKE FREE RN SHOE
I LOVE the color of these running shoes and they are so comfy. I wear them either barefoot or with no-show socks. I’ve been wearing the Free RN style from Nike for years now and they’re my fave.MADEWELL WAFFLE STITCH SWEATER JACKET
This is a splurge at just under $100 (down from $150), but I just love how structured it is and know I will get a lot of wear out of it come cooler temps (and even now, to be honest, because my office is FREEZING). I love the waffle knit texture of this sweater and how it drapes – and the pockets, too! Mine is an XS.
LONG OPEN FRONT CARDIGAN
This cardigan was a very popular item and sold out in several colors (a few are available). I don’t own a white/cream sweater and loved the stripes on this one. It’s an XS and I can’t wait to wear it!LONG SLEEVE RINGER TEE
This tee is the perfect color combo – the pink is an exact match for CND’s cake pop nail polish. It also reminds me of those super pricey J.Crew striped tees – but this one is under $30 during the sale! An important note – I sized up to a medium – it’s kind of boxier (doesn’t look like it when you wear it, but on the hanger). This is a must-have, IMO and a tee you can wear now and layer with later.
WOOL BLEND DRAPE FRONT COAT
This coat looks horrible on the website. Poorly styled and “meh.” But I adore it. I recommend sizing down a full size on this one – mine is an XS. It’s great quality and you can drape the neckline different ways and even belt it, which elevates it a lot! I think this is a nice option for when the weather is getting cooler – but not cold enough to need a full on winter coat. It’s more chic than wearing a cardigan.
ROUNDED V-NECK TEE
I purchase these tees every single year. Last year I got some black and white striped combos and this year’s standout is this lilac-y pink shade. I wear a size small and they’re just $17.90 a piece. I wear them to work out, to work under cardigans or blazers, etc. They wash and dry well and hold up!FREE PEOPLE JANUARY TEE
This tee is another must-have. It fits well and it so soft and slinky. Mine is a size small. I love the neckline and the length of the shirt – this is one you can wear on weekends but I also think it’s a work option if it’s paired with the right accessories, skinny dress pants and heels or fancier flats.
SPANX HIGH WASIT LACE UNDIES
These undies are everything. Just trust me on this and buy at least one pair. They fit TTS and are the first high-waist undies I’ve ever worn. LOVE.
HAPPY SHOPPING!
