Decorating our home for the holidays brings me so much joy. I look forward to it and seem to put it up earlier as the years go on so we can enjoy it for a longer period of time. December is such a hectic month, I’m always glad to have it up early.
I added pink ribbon to our tree this year to switch things up – but If I’m being honest, I miss our black and white striped ribbon that we usually do. But, it’s fun to step out of my comfort zone – I’d even like to try a more traditional tree with pops of red someday.
I find so much cute stuff online while pursuing the latest holiday collections and today’s post features some cute, affordable holiday decor – and you’ll see lots of pops of red!
Before we get to the decor, I can’t resist sharing this under $10 door mat. How cute is it?! I’m a sucker for a festive stripe. Buy it here (the leopard flats are here).Plaid pillows | nutcracker pillow | candy wool garland | be merry pillow | plaid throw blanket | faux magnolia leaf plant | pink bottle brush tree | berry and pine cones in a tin pot | swan snowglobe | merry glitter + plaid pillow | letter ornament | preserved berry wreaths | Black and white stripe ribbon | gold scalloped plates | preserved boxwood wreath | eucalyptus garland | felted wool wreath (I got one for each of the kid’s rooms)
Do you have a more traditional or modern holiday color scheme?
