Thank you Walmart for sponsoring this post!
One of my favorite things about style in the context of blogging, is culling through hundreds of items to find the best of the best to share with y’all. There’s something about combing through pages (and pages!) of items and finding those gems that are in line with my personal style. A bonus for today’s post is that all of these Spring style picks are from Walmart and super affordable, on-trend and versatile (work with a lot of pieces you already have!)
This post will share my top 4 picks for Spring from Walmart + some other styles I’m loving.
THE EYELET BUTTON-DOWN TOP
A top so nice, I bought it twice! I got this pretty top in both white and sage green – it’s a classic eyelet top with some on-trend details like natural color buttons and ruffled sleeves. I’m wearing a small and it fits TTS. I wear a nude color bra underneath, but if you’d like to wear these to work, I would add a camisole (like this one or this three pack!)
THE HIGH-WAISTED CURVY JEANS
It’s like Sofia Vergara knows us all – and she nails it when she created her denim line. I’m on my second pair of her now-famous high-waistd curvy jeans and they are truly among my favorite and most-worn jeans. In fact, when I got my first pair, I didn’t wear any other jeans for like 2 months, haha. They fit like a dream (I’m in a 4 and am a 26/27 in denim) and they are so comfortable. They have a great level of stretch to them and are easy to move and bend in. The high-waisted style means they work perfectly with the shorter tops that are so on trend right now. For the price point, they’re very similar to designer denim jeans. So many of y’all got these the first time I shared them and I’ve gotten tons of positive feedback, so I know they’re working on different heights and body types.
THE UTILITY JACKET
Don’t even ask me how many utility jackets I own…I just love them! This one by Time and Tru is a home run in so many ways. Firstly, this is a quality material with tons of pockets and buttons Secondly, you can cinch in the waist with interior pulls, which is a huge bonus if you want a closer fit (I have it pulled in in these photos). I opted for the brown color, but if you don’t already own a utility jacket I love the olive as well – they’re both versatile neutrals!
Perhaps the best part about utility jackets is that they’re kind of seasonless. Throw them over your dress or tank + shorts on a cooler summer evening, layer them over a plaid shirt in the fall, pop one over a cute top as you transition into Spring, A utility jacket may be one of the hardest-working ones in your closet, TBH. I’m wearing the size small!
THE WRAP FRONT-TOP
This is such a simple top, but with a twist. The cross-front and tie detail takes it a step above your average white tee. I’m wearing a small, but it fits a little larger, FYI, so I would size down.
THE SQUARE NECK BLOUSE
When I put this top on, I felt like a million bucks! I just find the neckline so flattering and the sleeves are the perfect length. I’m wearing a small and recommend sizing down in this one. The top feels like a cotton/linen blend and so it feels a little “dressier” (work appropriate). I plan to wear it with high-waisted black and navy pants to the office. Definitely a must-have.
