I haven’t done a Friday Five in a while, so here we go!
PATIO RUG UPDATE
Well, I’m still on the hunt for a rug for our patio. When we got this rug in from Overstock last week, the color looked completely off to me (I ordered the blue/beige). I thought it would be light blue like the photo online, but when it came in, it was more of a royal blue/navy color. I first tried to sell it locally at a loss because Overstock wanted $83 to ship it back, but then decided to contact their customer service via the texting option. It took about 5 hours to hear back, but I sent them photos of the online listing and what I received and they told me they sent the wrong rug – that I did in fact receive the navy and it was mislabeled. They allowed me to send it back for a full refund since I was sent the wrong item, so yay for great customer service!
After seeing that rug on our patio, I realized I want something really neutral, like an outdoor jute-like rug. The blue just didn’t look right for my vision for this space. I love our patio furniture set, the rug just didn’t look right with it and also wasn’t the color I expected.

OUR ANNIVERSARY + MOTHER’S DAY
I got the most beautiful flowers from a local florist, Frankie + Flora (they offer floral arrangement classes too – I can’t wait to take one when its safe to do so!) Check out more info here.
I also got a special charcuterie grazing box + board delivery from The Posh Plank, a local business that creates custom charcuterie tables for events and celebrations. It was such a fun weeknight treat! I love supporting local businesses by sharing them here with you on my blog!
We don’t have any major plans this year for Mother’s Day or our 11th wedding anniversary given the current circumstances, but we look forward to ordering in food (and dessert!) and just enjoying a family weekend. I also asked for a clean house for Mother’s Day, LOL!
