I love framed intaglios, but they can be pricey, with one framed piece typically starting at $300 and above. I searched online for some time to find an affordable solution – and found a way to get the look for less!
I found these totally customizable intaglios on Etsy, and ordered two and framed them on my own. You can customize the size, style, background color and choose from tons of different Intaglio shapes, sizes and designs.
Once you place your order, you can find gold bamboo frames in the size you need. Here are some gold bamboo frame options:
Another option is to order inaglios on Ebay and purchase your own mats and frames, but when I priced it out, the Etsy option felt like a more convenient route to take. Having said that, you could totally purchase your own mat, poster board for the backing, linen paper or fabric and frame.
