Friday Five

ONE
Yesterday was Harper’s 8th birthday! We are so proud of our amazing, creative and sweet little girl! We went to Coltivare for dinner (her choice!) and had ice cream cake at home.

I’m always asked for gift recommendations for girls Harper’s age, so here are a few of the things we/family got for her: rock painting kit, Ivy & Bean books (these too), pet adoption mini clay kit, the secret lake book, LEGO bus playhouse, babysitter’s club books, LEGO friends camping kit, bracelet kit, Zoey and Sassafras series, the boxcar children series, whatever after series.

TWO
How cute is this purple dress?! You can also purchase it here. I’m wearing the small and it’s TTS. It would be so fun for a vacation – the pom pom detail is adorable!

THREE
I don’t care if they’re granny-esque, the sunglasses chain is everything. I purchased a tortoise one last year and this year I’m all about this pearl one.

I also got this white blouse in – I already own it in black and this one is even better. It’s so lightweight that even in 90 degree heat it worked. I love the daisy detailing – I wear a nude bra underneath and it’s perfect! Wearing a small.

FOUR
My birthday is this Sunday! 38…I can’t quite believe it! The past year was full of so many ups and downs, but I made my most courageous decision yet, faced a huge fear and am thriving – I couldn’t be more thankful.

I’m at the end of my Invisalign treatment, so after the retainer phase, I should spend most of my 38th year with newly straight teeth! I’m so glad I did this for myself and can’t wait to see the final result when everything is polished up and whitened. At this point, I literally can’t imagine not having the trays in my mouth, haha.

I’m wearing my Hill House nap dress here – isn’t it so cute? I am wearing a small but it’s a generous fit so I’ll size down next time.
