I’ll be honest – I’ve felt quite uninspired lately trying to shop for things like cocktail/party dresses and fun heels – there just isn’t a ton of dressier things I love right now.
I think a lot of us are into a more casual vibe now, but still want to look chic and put together – and I think this year’s fall trends heavily lean into that look – basics, but polished. Things like adding a blazer to almost any outfit, buying a blouse with some texture, ruffle or another detail or wearing all black but with an interesting neckline are ways to elevate and upgrade any outfit.
Below are some recent favorites & some items I’ve purchased lately. It’s still hot in Houston, so I’m focused on finding pieces that are wearable on their own and layered with other pieces as it gets cooler.
