Affordable Looks for Summer

Summer is always my favorite season to shop because I love bold colors, pastels fun prints and all-black looks with a tan. I found a great mix of on-trend, affordable summer staples that you can mix and match into your wardrobe and style in different ways – plus a few pairs of summer sandals you’ll love – all from Walmart! My favorite lines at Walmart are Free Assembly, Scoop & Time and Tru – they all have a mix of classic and trendy pieces at price points you’ll love. Plus, I’ve found the pieces to be high-quality and well made, which is why I’ve continued to purchase from these Walmart brands every season.

Knitted colorful skirt + v-neck bodysuit & pink/natural raffia sandals
This skirt is so on-trend for summer and looks like a lot of pieces being released by big designer labels – it looks expensive, but is affordable. I love the fringe detail and elastic waist – I’d wear this with a swimsuit as well – it’s super versatile. I’m wearing the size small in both the skirt and bodysuit. The sandals go perfectly with this skirt – I love the natural/raffia look and that it’s a blend of a bold pink and natural plus, they have a memory foam sole and are incredibly cushioned and comfortable.

Yellow knit dress with scalloped details
This color is so bold and bright – I don’t have another piece in my closet quite like it! The scalloped details appealed to me right away and it’s the perfect length, too. I love this for a summer vacation but it’s also the perfect brunch dress. I’m wearing the small because I wanted it to fit like a true shift dress, but you can size down if you’d like a more fitted look

I adore this silhouette – it will literally never go out of style and eyelet is so perfect for summer. I got the size small and it’s al little big on the waist on me – so I’m going to get an XS (I secured it in the back to take these photos so you could see what the waist would look like in an XS). I can’t say enough about this dress – the fit, the style, the length – it’s just something you can always reach for, for many occasions and it will always work! Plus, it has POCKETS!!!

These high waisted shorts are the perfect length and the rise goes up right to the belly-button, which makes them uber-flattering. I purchase the size small in all pieces, but the shorts are a little loose on my waist – the tops fit true to size! I love that these pieces can be mixed and matched with skirts, denim, tees, etc – definitely versatile pieces you can style various ways.

Whether you need the perfect pool cover-up or want a dress with pockets + eyelet details to dress up – this one is IT! I’m wearing the XS and it’s a roomy fit but can be belted for a more formal look.
